Therefore, to sync files on two accounts, I have to log out one account and when syncing is complete, I then log out and log in to the other account and sync the files. But when I log out one account, the remaining account works just fine, i.e the app shortcut opens and the folder syncs. Similarly, the two folders do not sync at the same time. However, the two app shortcuts do not open when the two accounts are logged in. Similarly, I also got two Dropbox App shortcuts on my desktop named Dropbox (Personal) and Dropbox (Business). The two accounts successfully got linked and my previous Dropbox Personal account folder was renamed Dropbox (Personal) and I also got a new folder named Dropbox (Business). Then I added my Dropbox Business account (via Preference -> Account -> Add team account -> Business account log in). I was already having Dropbox Personal installed on my PC. Yes, I am referring to Dropbox Business account (using Professional plan, 3TB, single user) and a Dropbox Personal account (using Basic plan). Also creating two computer user accounts dedicated to each Dropbox account as an alternative to running two Dropbox folders on one PC at once comes with inconveniences and should be left to users of multiple personal accounts who desire to run them on the same PC. It is cumbersome to log out of one account and into the other every time one wants files or wants to sync files. I have to log out one account for the remaining account to have its app shortcut open and its folder sync.ĭropbox should allow for the app shortcuts/folders for two linked accounts (personal and business) to run (open and sync) at the same time since the two accounts are separate and serve different purposes.

By not running at once, I mean for the two linked accounts, Dropbox (Personal) and Dropbox (Business) app shortcuts on Desktop do not open at once and Dropbox (Personal) and Dropbox (Business) folders do not sync at once on the same PC. Two linked Dropbox accounts, one personal and the other business, do not run at once on the same PC.
